   CAMP VALUE

For nearly 100 years, members of the American Camp Association have joined together to share knowledge and experience and to ensure quality of camp programs.

ACA's current membership of over 7,000 exceptional camp programs provides children and adults with the opportunity to learn powerful lessons in community, character-building, skill development, and healthy living - lessons that can be learned nowhere else other than at camp.

'TIS THE SEASON...

Consider an End of Year Gift to Johns River Valley Camp. The JRVC Board projects site upgrades in two areas, and invites financial support to help underwrite these projects: (1) Meeting new state standards for Kitchen/Dining Hall continue, and
(2) implementing energy/water saving upgrades to the Boys Bath House have been added to the site development plan. Friends contributing to the Sustaining Fund in 2009 - 2010 will see their contributions addressing projects in either of these areas along with support for the ongoing operation of the camp. Gifts via check should be made payable to "Johns River Valley Camp" and mailed to 1055 Niley Cook Road, Blowing Rock, NC 28605. All contributions are tax deductable under the Internal Revenue Service group exemption number 1665 for the United Church of Christ.
