   CAMP VALUE

For nearly 100 years, members of the American Camp Association have joined together to share knowledge and experience and to ensure quality of camp programs.

ACA's current membership of over 7,000 exceptional camp programs provides children and adults with the opportunity to learn powerful lessons in community, character-building, skill development, and healthy living - lessons that can be learned nowhere else other than at camp.

Johns River Valley Camp seeks to provide --in an outdoor setting -- opportunities for persons to experience the presence of God, to discover personal wholeness, and to participate amidst Christian community. (JRVC mission statement)

SUMMER CAMP REMAINS IN THE MEMORIES SOF CAMPERS

2010 program included a Youth Work Camp, designed as an educational/mission experience where youth address housing needs in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Also, ten classic offerings for rising grades 3 through high school and Mainsite and Outpost settings provided further alternatives for program preference.
